I think if you start combining those two ideas then maybe you get a really interesting battle royale, could be something to think about. In terms of making sense to lore having dimensional stability be the circle/storm I think would make a lot of sense.

So my rare pet is not actually as rare as was intended. I think that insteed of pushing out more for a 5th of the price that early investors payed the full lot of normal discs shold have been sold before more rare ones. Well this team has been really good about not selling anything pre game launch… illuvitars are a standalone collection cosmetic game and that was clear to me anyway. Everyone starts from zero in the overworld and they haven’t yet sold us something without a game except land and the alpha came out right after.

The alpha disks are intended for individuals that wanted the first-ever illuvitars and were willing to pay a premium to do so. Think of them as a collectors edition. A number of people wanted one to signify that they were here at the very beginning. A number of people bought them to hold for years. Others bought to try to open and hope for a super rare Illuvitar that they could sell for dozens of ETH. Others bought them to try to immediately flip. And some have bought them just because they were on sale with no idea what they are. I would caution anyone on buying without understanding what and why you are buying it.

I understand the "collectors edition" mentality, the problem is that there is nothing on alpha illuvitars to differentiate them from a regular illuvitar, so when you're using them in game, people won't be able to tell the difference. nobody is going to know whether your illuvitar is an alpha or not. So the only way to spot the difference at a glance is from the symbol when you buy them on the illuvium marketplace

Their plan was to release the game the same week as sale but then they decided to polish it is what the community was told and honestly the whole project relies on the integrity of Kieran Aaron and grant and team… and so far I would say overall they have been very forthcoming with information and very transparent. I’ve been working literally 60-65 hours per week and didn’t read anything on beyond which was why I was surprised in my earlier discussion that alpha illuvitar characters and artwork was not exclusive to the alpha sale… but overall, I couldn’t ask for more from the team as far as information and transparency. They still need to market and I formed my own understanding of what the marketing meant…. Should have taken a day off work and read all the details lol

Wanted to say one thing that has been on my mind for the last couple of days. This is just my opinion.
The accessories when are put on Illuvitars look lame, it’s like someone just photoshopped them on. They could have been made so they look like the illuvitars are actually wearing them.
