Overall I think the gameplay is great. Definitely needs some UI improvements for better understanding of minables, consumables ect. Less reading more videos/animations of how they work.

Mining needs a lot of improvements as it’s a major part of the game. More diversity of deposits, clearer visuals of types of deposits, gacha style animations when extracting good minerals. Need to feel that you have found something valuable with more sounds and animations. Candy crush without all the animations and sounds would be lame.

I’d like some videos of Illuvals in the wild when I capture one. Some background on their behaviour (Pokémon style).

Would also be great to click a thumbnail and see their special abilities in action and some tips how to use that particular Illuvial on the battle board.

Inventory and storage feel strange atm. Captured Illuvials end up back in the storage, some things you can withdraw some things you can’t.

I do have some concern about the team you can amass in just a few days. These are your main characters in the Illuvium world and it’s not too hard to build a team.

I know most of these concerns will be addressed just wanted to share.

But keep in mind that u have longer play time every day with 2 t1s than with 1 t2.

I'd go grab one and see if it helps, I used to have a gaming laptop that got extremely hot and needed extra help cooling. They are pretty economical compared to getting a new laptop as well.

The only time I've smelled burning from my computer was when I cooked my 970 playing some Indie game on Steam. There's really only a few things that can make that smell - melting plastic, melting components, or burning dust. Whichever one it is, something is definitely getting too hot.

Hard to say with play to earn how much people will value an hour of one’s time. I would think illuvium world will be more if a casino. Sure, you profit some hours on lucky catches but overall you lose money. Otherwise, you’ll have people all over the world playing to earn like axie and collapse the profit. So I envision a casino, playing will be like slots going for that big hit. Just like opening tcg packs vs buying the good cards direct on eBay (catching in overworld vs buying on illuvidex)

Seems like its just too RNG heavy. I can do a S3 run and get 0 resplendant shards out of 10 shard deposits while someone else apparently gets 9.
It should be a bit more consistent so that more runs fall on the median instead of being extreme outliers.
