so here is my completely made up mathemamaticatistics on this: assuming 180000 ilv, avg 20k players. you can assume of the 20k there's a % that just don't count, so let say 18000 "real" players. that's 10 ILV/person. then you just have to say "do i play more/less effectively"? how many hours do i put in? how many points do i get/hr. personally, I assume I'm at least average - and I'll say 2x average, so maybe i'll get 20 inv. but that's just how i think of it
