hackers found a way to bypass kicking completely

there's a dude with no name who physically cannot be kicked due to the menu being completely broken when trying to kick him in specific. The menu just turns into a big long grey bar due to his insanely long name

they also can still bypass kicking too by just leaving the server really fast then rejoining once you go back in the game (this can be done by normal players too)

no way to kick them

they can just disable kicking from any admin mods too

there's literally nothing you can do

they seemed to also have just crashed the game while it was in menu

Does the logs say the cause of the crash?, I need to see my logs too, where can I find them

%localappdata%\Teardown and there should be a crash folder (contains most crashes) and a log.txt (wiped every restart)

I don’t know if it was a crash or the server getting shut down by the host, I wasn’t paying attention

ive only seen people with short or invisible usernames joining (so i made a mod that auto bans people whos usernames are below 3 letters)

Since people with names that are insanely long are unkickable through the normal menu

obviously though they can still set their name between 3 and 32 characters (what steam and my mod allows) but atleast they are kickable

my mod wasnt so worthless after all
