always 15 fps

So no matter what graphic settings and resolution I set the fps are always about 15-16, my pc build is rtx 4070 ryzen 7 3700x 32gb 3600MHz cl18 and 750 gold plus and I play at 1440p but I don't think it matters cuz the resolution doesnt change the framerate. I tried highest setting, lowest settings, 720p and 1440p and the framerate is always the same

Refund it and wait for help, try clearing download cache

Are you destorying a lot of things at once? Or is it a mod map?

I'm just loading the first sandbox map that comes or just click campaign and it's like that from the start

Well, that would rule out any rendering bottlenecks pretty much. What is your CPU doing in the background, are you running something else on the system that is CPU heavy? (see Task Mananger)
Also, disable v-sync in the game settings and try switching graphics api (and see if it helps).

I'd also be interested in knowing what you use to measure the fps 🙂

I use RTSS and nvidia geforce to measure fps, I have opera gx and spotify in the background, the v-sync was off and I dunno how to switch graphics api

listen, it's not a performance issue, it's like there's an fps limit, I can send you a video of what it looks like while playing

You switch the graphics api in the game options under the visuals tab, it should be somewhere towards the bottom of the page. Try this first since it might just work fine with another graphics api.

And I think with RTSS should be fine, but maybe it's not? It has worked for me before, but weird FPS caps like these have sometimes been because of different overlays in the game (e.g. Discord, Rivatuner, Xbox, etc). Try turning any game overlays off.

You haven't accidentally set the cap somewhere like in Steam, NVIDIA or Rivatuner?

okay nvm I changed the api to opengl and its working fine, it's that I tried to change the api while loaded into a map so I couldnt and now I changed via main menu, thx, I'm js stupid
