Is there a fix for this kind of circle?
UPD: I saw something like this in screenshots of other people, so it might be an okay thing. Now I'm just curious what causes this thing to occur.

#

Dunno if this might be relevant: 1440p display, settings on max, resolution 100%, fullscreen mode, fov 90, dx12, 3060 latest driver (576.28)

hm 🤔

#

either this is from one of these mods or it's an issue from the game.

#

try to check the game's files

Verify Steam Files
  1. Open the Steam client.
  2. Navigate to your Library.
  3. Right-click on Teardown and select "Properties".
  4. Click on the "Local Files" tab.
  5. Click "Verify Integrity of Game Files".

I did that, steam said files are fine, but for some reason whole game just got downloaded again (I'm on experimental). As for the 'circle' thing, it barely noticeable if game is running in real time.

#

Maybe it's not big of a thing and I'm getting too greedy for pretty visuals, haha

# crystal ruin what's your CPU and GPU?

r7 5700x3D, 64GB RAM, 3060 12GB, to be honest, I had this issue for quite some time, about year or more, even on a previous rig. I assume it has something to do with how light works in teardown and when player is too far, bright light might cause some artifacts. When I stand close to the source of bright light the light behaves as intended.

maybe you could try disabling all mods and enable by chunks of 5 and test each time if this issue occurs. It may also come from the mod you're using

Already tried this one out and sadly, no. Issue still persist.

Update drivers and Windows and reboot
  1. For Nvidia Users:
You can update drivers via Geforce Experience or their driver page.
  2. For AMD Users:
You can check for updates using the AMD Radeon Settings or by navigating to their driver page.
  3. After updating drivers, search for "Windows Update" in the Start menu and install any available updates.
  4. Once updates are installed, restart your computer.

#

i have a feeling its caused by a mod

foggy pivot
#

Maybe it is. I'll try reinstalling the game by deleting all related to Teardown files

foggy pivot
#

relatively clean reinstall, experimental, latest Nvidia driver, mods that were enabled during recording: precision flight, explosive pack by gs_115 and build-in screen recorder. The circle might be caused by RDS Davy Crockett nuclear warhead (that one I'm exploding via explosive pack), but that's not only mod that have this effect. (tried by testing TABS explosives after this one)

Is it stupid to assume that intensity of light over 5k might be causing this?

#

I've recently found that the light can be controlled in the lua of some mods and I'm not a programmer, so these things for me is too complex. What unites them is that many of the mods with this circle effect have a light intensity higher than 5k

#

Whenever something bright flashes in distance

#

Yep, after tweaking intensity I've confirmed my suspicions. Too bright light is causing this thing to appear
