Hey guys, after some time i finally bought teardown, (please don't ban me for this, just say that its inappropiate and i'll delete the message), and yes, i played the pirated version for some time, and i bought the game today. I'm very dissapointed and dont know what's wrong but on the - let me say - bad version i had 140+ fps in the game, on the same map on the same settings, and on legit game on steam i barerly got 50 fps. How in a mythic tomato this works? How i can fix this?
#Steam version of teardown has bad performance

You might want to try switching to the OpenGL renderer in the Teardown settings:
Okay that helped, but still it's wierd that on both versions i've used dx12 and got 2x more fps on the bad version
OpenGL was added before dx12 am i right?
It looks like i am being locked at 45 fps on steam version in directx12, even on lowest settings
The game has always used OpenGL before DX12 was added in 1.5. It depends on the map and mods you are playing with as perfomance will vary if you have a lot of mods enabled or a lot of stuff is going on. But we can do the following to rule out some possibilities:
Update drivers and Windows and reboot
- For Nvidia Users:
You can update drivers via Geforce Experience or their driver page. - For AMD Users:
You can check for updates using the AMD Radeon Settings or by navigating to their driver page. - After updating drivers, search for "Windows Update" in the Start menu and install any available updates.
- Once updates are installed, restart your computer.
drivers are up to date
something is blocking my game framerate to 45 fps on directx12, i have no idea what
open gl works well
Do you have any software like Nvidia Geforce Experience or overlay that puts a FPS limiter on?
no, no any software that blocks anything
i've checked on the bad version and i don't have any problem here with dx12... Wierd thing (im gonna remove this version soon, dont worry)
I think that it isn't the game's fault, this might be something with steam or steamvr (i got 90hz vr headset and the vr games always show 45 fps on the counter, half of refresh rate)
Try disabling Vsync in your settings in Teardown
Been there, done that. Still nothing
