This is not a simple pixel game
Someone did get Teardown running on their m1 mac and I'm pretty sure only got 20-30fps
They used apple's gamemaker toolkit or whatever it's called, you could try doing that, performance might not be that good tho
.
i understand but like can that person give me there dmg on whatever
cause i am not in the mood to go galivanting around with the toolkit trying hard to convert an exe into a good ol dmg
@sour brook is the person who did it
hello everyone
i now have found a way
so you must be able to extract the exe file
and then using that file you can use something called whiskey to run it on mac no questions asked you find whiskey on github
Sick, let me know how the performance is, I'm curious
I’ll be creating a blog post at a later date
wait
hold up
i just realized smth
whiskey just doesnt open teardown like paralells dekstop💀
but im able to play any other game
Macs are just not built for games, you gotta get out of Apple's chokehold asap if you want to enjoy yourself
"basic pixel game" LMAO
please hold back on non helpful comments like this
Apples genuinely aren't designed for gaming though, they're made for graphics design, video editing and animation, while being great at that, running games is hard to do for them
