#1440p 75% vs 1080p 100%

technically if its in 100%, its just rendering at 75%
mainly cause i lag hard when using things like chronodial or blowing up my own basiliscos but my computer has i7, 3060, and 16gb ram
i7 what gen and sku?
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz
idk did i end up with a mid cpu for teardown
what u mean?
like that was my logic but idk if 75% 1440p = 100% 1080p
laptop cpu are a bit.. different in a way
technically no
cuz its still more than 1080p
napkin math (aka google) told me 1080 x 1920 x 100% = 2.073 mil while 1440 x 2560 x 0.75 = 2.765 mil so make what i will
only 56% render scale for 1440p would get me parity with 100% 1080p according to the same napkin but i think visuals would be severely degraded by then
just doing 1440 x 2560 gave me 3.686 mil
