i downloaded some mods from the workshop but they wont show up i tried resubscribing and reinstalling steam

you sure they are done downloading?

otherwise.. maybe close the game and then delete the mods.xml.. or how its called.. (where your savegame.xml is).. then restart the game

i think there is a clickable link to the savegame file on one of the settings pages in game

@quasi berry i'm sure they are downloaded and deleting the mods.xml did nothing

otherwise try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.. and backup your savegame.xml before
