#VTTS

Hello @hardy hollow! This is a very tough question since everyone has their preference and personal taste, but I'll share my perspective in case it helps.
I really like playing TTRPGs in person, although I rarely have a chance to. I prefer the pen and paper character sheets and using paper drawn maps.
When playing online, I rarely rely on digital tools, but I found Roll20 to be just enough for my needs. The free account gives me access to a map, tokens, dice rollers and a few other tools that are sometimes useful, which is more than enough for my style of play.
It may be insufficient for people who are more proficient in online gameplay, but then again, I don't know if it is or isn't, I never bothered to research further than what I needed at the time.
In any case, there are many free VTTs, each bring some stuff to the table and lack other. Maybe there are some quick tutorials that might give you some info about them online? :)
For context, you can easily create a campaign, your players can create free accounts and join, you can create a map and they can interact with their character tokens on it
Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. Much appreciated. 😄
Hope I helped!
I also heard about Owlbear Rodeo and a few other VTTs, but I haven't tried them so I can't say more
I swear by roll 20. It works great on computer, the complaints I get are always from peeps on the phone.
Thanks, I'll try it.
Ive always used Roll20 for DMing my games, but Ive played with some DMs that use Foundry and I think its a stylistic preference
