Just a little cleaning up of the wording and resource used
And (X) being the spell level of Heroism you'd like it to be cast at. "as a 2nd level spell" for example
What happens if you try to break the mirror
Not sure. Maybe I should add that. It's a solid slate of silver, so it would take a lot.
First off, mirrors allow you to see around corners without getting pincushioned by arrows because you peeked your head out, so this is clearly an S+ tier item /s
I do love me a good mundane mirror.
Yeah. That's the one thing I forgot to ask. What tier should this go in?
Uncommon or rare I'd say
We get Instrument of the Bards, they have Uncommon tier despite having a crapton of utility and free spells
This is definitely Uncommon
So you're saying I should dump more crazy into it.
If rare, yes, if you wanna keep it uncommon, I'd say it's alright as is
And of course tweak the text a bit for clarity
Already done.
Maybe I should give it a number of hit points. Like 20 or so?
Upon destruction a spell of color spray is cast in all directions.
Given that it's made of silver, it'd have an AC of 19, and because it's a small resilient item, 3d6 hp
The mirror face is a silver plate. The handle and frame are brass dragon scale.
So evil. I would hit the deck too.
Still 19ac then
Bard proceeds to throw it into the enemy, gets the SS ranger to shoot it to detonate it

Don't forget the once per long rest in show must go on
In the original it was once per long rest
I know I was just being facetious.

Thank you both for the help. It feels much improved.
