Ive been wondering whats a good multiclass for a warlock because i love my magic and spells but i know with the pact i can go for pct of the blade and get better with weapons that way but im wondering whats a good general multiclass for warlocks

What subclass are you and what do you want to achieve from multiclassing?

Since you clearly need to know what you want to get to weigh the benefits against what you're giving up by not going further into your main class - for Warlock this is gonna be progress towards new spells, spell slots, mystic aracna and invocations.

For example, you can be worried about your defences, you can be after dealing more damage with spells, or getting better at the blade. You can be trying to gain more versatility to not just be limited by the couple spell slots per short rest. You can be trying to fill in the niche of buffing other characters.

#

The choice really depends on what your current build is, what you want to achieve and what the party needs

Warlock is one of those classes that can honestly multi with anything and be good, depending on how you split the levels per class. It really is like what was said above - what do you want? Do you want to be more melee, a better caster, etc.? Because you can be any of those things with a warlock multi.

As a astral elf warlock my patron is the archfey , i want to be a better caster

#

Like i get great attack spells with my eldritch invocations and cantrips but i want some healing and defence spells to and slightly more attack spells to

bard or sorcerer are the best for making a warlock a better caster; same casting modifier, more spell slots, more spells, more features (metamagic or expertise/jack of all trades)

if you're leaning towards healing and buffing, definitely bard, though. sorcerer just adds pure DPS

Alrighty thank you!

and Favored by the Gods is a stellar defensive feature, for when you really need to make a save (such as for possession, mind control or that massive dragon's breath that would kill you)

Warlock is easiest multiclass.

Paladin sorcerer and bard are top choices.

6 fighter 6 Warlock isn't bad either

2 barbarian x Warlock isn't bad either but weaker than above.

5 Warlock X rogue isn't bad either.

It's the ketchup of multiclass
