I've been trying to get this to work for a minute 3 lvls in fighter to get Echo Knight and dumping the rest of the level into Ranger to fully grasp Drakewarden. Can I get some assistance? I've only been versed in single classes.

How I'd do it is throw in 5 levels of Ranger, then 3 Fighter then the rest into Ranger
If you're not opposed to more multiclassing I'd throw in a level of Life Cleric in between the ranger and fighter levels for Lifeberry (40hp from a level 1 slot)

I mean, Ranger in general doesn't since you're kinda forced into melee attacks and Ranger is best at, well, range
(Not counting ghostlancing for the melee thing but that's another can of worms)
And I would say it competes for bonus actions, but then again so does every other bonus action martial feature compete with xbe/pam

I was looking into Echo Knights kit and it showed that the echo/shadow mimics what the character has. So I was thinking since drakewarden can either call, summon, or draconic materialize a drake the echo can summon their own drake

Oh no that absolutely doesn't work like that
You'd need Simulacrum for this
The Echo is basically an extension of what you can do. You can swap places with it, attack from its space and make opportunity attacks from it
It doesn't have its own actions nor is it even a creature to begin with
