uncommon magical items for bard?

In a campaign im in, we can now buy an uncommon magic item, what should I choose as a swords bard?

If you have at least 16 dex then Serpent Scale Armor is a pretty good pick. It's basically mithral scale mail, but there's no dex cap for AC
So if you have 16 dex right now it's just a straight upgrade to your half-plate, removing the stealth disadvantage and when you get more it will substitute +1 half-plate with 18 dex and +2 half-plate with 20 dex

I'll always advocate for the rhythm making drum +1, as a +1 to spell attacks and spell save DC's are ALWAYS nice
