Hallo zusammen
bin am verzweifeln. Veruche krampfhaft meinen Drucker wieder mit Klipper zum laufen zu bringen den die neue Version 2.2.2 will nicht
Ich kann keine Verbindung von Moonraker zu Klipper aufbauen obwohl alles korrekt eingetrasgen ist.
Wäre sehr sehr froh um rasche Hilfe sollte ein Teil bis Dienstag liefern können für ein Aquarium

The crew is from the DACH region and speaks german, but this is an english only server, so please keep everything in english

Also just chooce one tag, as the bot told you. Best would be to separate issues in multiple posts that we fix one by one that others can search for them later

did you flash a new MainsailOS on your sd card and just copy all old config files to it?

Yes, I needed a new SD card. Then I downloaded the latest version of Mainsail OS 2.2.2, installed it, and uploaded my old printer.cfg and moonraker.cfg files. Currently, the only problem is connecting Moonraker to Klipper.
The service is running, but it has problems with the klippy_uds_address in the moonraker .cfg file.
I don't know where else to look.

ok. thats your issue. pls dont overwrite the new moonraker.conf. this will break your setup.

just add the missing settings or sections you need (or added in your old setup)

It shouldn't be too hard, to just copy the missing sections from the old moonraker.conf to the new moonraker.conf

It will be faster to do it on your own, than setting up a teamviewer session or sharing it here

Here is a default moonraker.conf from MainsailOS (I removed the Crowsnest section as my section is newer than 2.2.2 and won't work for you)

Now remove everything from your moonraker.conf, paste that in and then look at your backup config next to this. Check which sections are missing from your backup and copy them over

Just look at the whole sections and not the single entries

So I will reinstall everything on the card and then enter my data in moonraker.cfg where necessary. Is it exactly the same for printer.cfg or does it not matter?

no, only moonraker.conf, mainsail.cfg (when you overwrite it, you will lost the update function), crowsnest.conf (when you have a really old version) and sonar.conf is also "new". so it could break.

printer.cfg and all other includes in it (some macros.cfg or something simular, you creaed yourself, could be just copied. these files dont exist on a fresh flashed mainsailOS)
