Hey guys, I was looking on the forum for something similar to my problem, but I didn't find anything that helped. My problem is that I get the serial number for my printer, but it still won't connect to Mainsail and keep saying "mcu unable to connect"... What could it be?
Thanks for your help!

You sent the klipper log. The screenshot you sent says klipper error

#

I guess you get the point which tag should be correct ^^

How is your board connected to your pi?

It just means that there is a connection, not a good connection....

#

The error you have is normally due to wrong firmware on the board. It indicates that the board is not flashed. In your case it could also be corrupted signals

#

Never use that many adapters

#

How is your board even powered?

#

I thought the screen connector doesn't fit on the skr mini e3 v3

What do you mean by saying how my board is powered on? I replaced the board with a mini e3 v3 and a TFT35 screen. I've printed with that setup a few times. I decided to use Klipper with my Raspberry but I haven't been able to print.

#

I changed the firmware from Marlin to Klipper on the mini e3 and I know the screen is not compatible and indeed the screen says it cannot find any printer.

Ah ok, then just try to connect the board with less connectors.

#

On a pi0.2 the best way would be the gpio pins, but you don't have them...

Yes, those could lead to some corrupted signal, like mentioned here: #1391288069008789625 message

#

I don't think that Klipper does any error correction and I'm pretty sure it doesn't retransmit data. So if your signal is just a bit corrupted it could lead to the error, as Klipper won't get a proper response

What if I fix my connections and still have the same problem?

Then we have to dig a little bit deeper with sudo dmesg, or you would have to ask on the Klipper Discord.

Yep, it's the connection 😑
