My RepRapDiscount is just blank after configuring the printer.cfg | Mainsail | Page 1

I am new to klipper, so this is my first install of klipper and mainsail. I am trying to get this to work on a Ramps 1.4 board with a RepRap Full Graphic smart controller. The screen was showing a display when the old Martin firmware was installed on to the Aldroino mega 2560, and when I flashed the board with klipper using the guide on the klipper website the screen went blue and it still is even after configuring it in the printer.cfg file. Anyone got any idea on what need to do to get it to work?

as long as klipper is not starting, you will not see anything on this display. this is quite normal...

ionic chasm I thought that was how you set up the virtual sd card?

the path is just wrong. and you should have a "mainsail.cfg". which will include it for you with the right path for your moonraker system

to be honest, i never saw this error. do you have any "plugin" or something simular installed? or it is the "space" in the path for the virtual_sdcard (just because the error is exactly after that). i would just remove this part and test it again

klipper is not starting... so pls dont think the display is any identification if it works or not! the display is "dumb" in klipper and it can only work, when the board and the raspberry can communicate

the board MCU go into a "shutdown" mode, when something is wrong and do "nothing". the display is controlled from the raspberry pi software (klippy) and the mcu firmware "just forward" it
