#Web Interface not working

I stopped using mainsail for a month on my Ender 3 V2. I plugged it in but its web interface is not working, the web browser mentions that mainsail.local's server IP address could not be found. I can ssh into the pi and it works that way, I'm not sure how I can fix it.

#

I also cant find the ip, when putting "ip a" in the terminal, the ip shows up as 127.0.1.1

You said the ip shows up as the localhost loopback interface, therefore I ofc think that's the only ip you get from ip a

#

It seems like you only got an ipv6 address there, but I cannot say if it's in your local network or the global one

#

Just try to connect to your wifi in the sudo raspi-config menu

#

Or use an ethernet cable

#

If the inet6/ipv6 adress is starting with fe80 it's the local adress, otherwise the global one

drifting dune
#

it does start with fe80

Ok, I tried connecting to my wifi, the web interface still doesnt work

mainsail.local

#

i use this when connecting via ssh but it doesnt work in the browser

#

i want to add that it has been working for several months without issue before this

This should show you the IP. If it's an ipv6 address that might be your problem then

drifting dune
#

It is an ipv6 address

#

So what can I do to fix it?

Check your router settings. Maybe it's set to only give ipv6 on WLAN

i checked, most of the other devices are ipv4, only the raspberry pi is ipv6
