#BTT TFT35-E3 V3.0.1 screen config

If we are talking about that fancy touch display, with these themeable buttons, I have to tell you, you're out of luck. Will never work.
The reason for that is simple, it uses Marlins serial communication protocol which is gcode based, but klippers serial protocol only communicates with its host service, using a different method. So, the display have to communicate with a service that translates gcodes to something that can be used by moonraker or klippy itself. This doesnt exist. That said, long story short.... Throw into bin or revert to marlin if crucial.
i belive LDO uses BTT TFT 43s for their kits, https://docs.ldomotors.com/en/guides/btt_43_rotate_guide
otherwise, the mini 1264 (i belive thats the number) screen works. this is the same screen as used on the prusa mk3 series (3, 3s, 3s+, and possibly the 3.5; but not the 3.9)
but for the other displays like btt tft 43s id need a rpi right?
the tft43 uses the flat flex cable, i think the mini 1264 comes in a number of configurations. if you have an original ender 3 (e3 or E3Pro), you should be able to use stock screen, (its not fancy but it works) Personaly, i do most of my work in the web interface, so a "dumber" screen is not a turn-off unless it is included in the kit
if id want to use the tft43 id have to buy raspberry pi for it to work, i run klipper on old laptop. But thank you.
My bad, I didn't realize that you were running off a laptop. In that case, you could use a wireless tablet like an iPad as a screen
that could actually work, do you know any documentation about it?
i think theres a way how to run klipperscreen on tablets/phones but i couldnt find anything usefull
You dont need klipperscreen on pad, just use also Mainsail
