Ahoi @hasty reef!
It looks like you did not provide all the necessary information we need to help you.
Please upload your logfiles and a detailed description of your problem.
For further information see: https://docs.mainsail.xyz/faq/getting-help/discord#provide-information
Note: We only accept .log and .txt files as log files.
This is an automated message
why do you add this to your nginx.conf?
So that it uses site-enabled folder
and where is the nginx log?
Cant upload it because the log is empty
systemctl status?
Working
Its displaying something just not mainsail. I dont know how to configure that
then pls post what you see
without any information from you, nobody can help you...
you just posted a default nginx.conf... nothing more...
thats from the default.conf file in the included conf.d directory. I also tried not including it already
is the mainsail config file enabled?
How can I check that?
why did you tried the manual installation?
because it didnt work kiauh. It was throwing an error where it was not able to setup the mainsail file in sites-available folder and also not able to then create a link in sites-enabled
that would be the point, where you should stop and post the error message...
just open KIAUH again, remove mainsail and install it again. then post the exact error message pls
I just got it running... The mistake I did was incredibly stupid. instead of include /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/.conf; I have to use include /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/; since mainsail is not a conf but a link.
Thank you very much for the help
pls close this post, when all questions are answered... but for the next time, pls post error messages, when a guide/function not work instead of doing stuff along... so its more difficult to find the original bug...
