post a screenshot from your webcam settings
you have to enable the webcam, but i think you use an elegoo printer. do you have a warning on the right top in mainsail?
I use a CR-10 SE. No, there's no warning
I mean, I can see the webcam stream, but the name Nebula doesn't appear on the timelapse dropdown menu
do you enabled it?
i think you only see the "Camera", which is in your moonraker.conf
You have to enable the webcam in the webcam settings!
Do you mean here?
Yes
Am I missing something? I don't see a option to enable it
In the list
Here?
no. in the webcam list!
What should I change here?
nothing.. because you dont need this one!
this is just the second one (called camera). you have to enable the other one
But where do I enable it? There's no option here
just click here on the light bulb! #1247327991181344778 message
as i already wrote multiple times! you have to enable it in the list! not in the edit view!
Clicked there and still doesn't appear in the dropdown
did the bulb changed?
Yeah, it went "off"
ok. then pls post a screenshot of all versions you have installed
Sorry, versions of what?
all parts you have installed
This?
do you use creality os?
Installed klipper via helper script a few days ago
do you use a creality OS as base image?
I guess so? It's a nebula pad
creality makes same strange things, but i dont think it is an issue with that...
press here again, that the bulb is white and then post the output of:
http://<ip or hostename>/server/webcams/list
(pls the text, and not a screenshot)
@inner sigil
sry. i hadnt time to double check it before. so all informations are in your output, so it should be there...
mainsail only check the snapshot_url if it exists and if it is enabled. both is true on both webcams in your webcam db
can you pls post your moonraker config? just to reproduce your second webcam, to doublecheck it
sry. hadnt time to check it until now. i will ping you, if i had a update
sry for the long delay. you cannot choose any webcan, because you added the "snapshoturl" in your [timelapse] section in your moonraker.conf. if you set this setting, the gui disable this field.
So should I just comment that line?
yes, or change it to the url you want. depends on what you want to do.
i will also add a "warning" in the gui to make this behavior better visible
I just want to record my prints hahah
the url looks right in your moonraker.conf. so it should work
@violet python i think this should be much more visible with that:
So I should comment this line to make it visible in the gui?
yes
Can I do it while printing something? Will it restart klipper?
depends on your setup. i would just wait...
@inner sigil Thanks to your help, I was able to get the .zip with the frames, but this error pops when I try to render the timelapse on Mainsail. Can you help me troubleshoot it?
What do you mean? I found it weird that there was a "k1_" in the name of the .zip.
But my machine is a CR-10 SE
That's clearly a k1 path
Or is that with the speederpad, or whatever the creality thing was called
So I should manually change it?
Tell me what your device is that you ssh into
Currently I know your printer, but not your host
Nebula Pad
Understandable
So that's my best bet to solve this problem?
You can try to install a newer version of ffmpeg, but no idea if that works
There was some similar issue with the k1 and someone opened an issue with useful information on the timelapse repo
Maybe you can find it there: https://github.com/mainsail-crew/moonraker-timelapse/issues
