mcu unable to connect
I have been struggling with this for a few days now and cannot find a solution anywhere. i have tried new usb cables, tried reflashing the board a few times using both methods (usb and sd card). Firmware. bin changes to .cus after flash. Checked the mcu serial number and that is correct. Reinstalled MainsailOS on the Pi and went thru the whole setup process twice. Nothing fixes the problem. i sure hope someone has the answer to this because it is driving me nuts. Here are the files If you need anythiing else let me know.

There is a known bug in udev which leads to not enumerated /dev/serial/ devices. Maybe you are affected by that. Did you run a full systemupdate?
yes I did. any way to get around this?
Yes, but we officially don't provide the solution atm. There is a solution on the klipper Discord, pinned in the general chat and I reposted it here in a thread with the same problem once. Please look out for it yourself as I don't feel comfortable enough with that solution to repost it over and over again, as I don't understand every aspect of the command myself.
"don't feel comfortable enough with that solution to repost it over and over again, as I don't understand every aspect of the command myself. " I neither understand it or know what to do with it. Would it work to clean the cashe in my browser and install a new copy of mainsailos on the pi and set it up without doing a system update and then go thru the whole setup again?
Yes that would work or you wait an day or 2. We hope that Debian cleans there mess and send an update of the udev package
thanks for the reply . i'ii give it a try in the morning
Kwad also posted in the general chat that it seems like MainsailOS v1.1.0 should be fine and MainsailOS v1.1.1 makes problems.

tried the whole setup process again without using "update system" and still no luck. Says there is a problem configuring the printer. is there anything wrong with my printer.cfg?
Can you send ls /dev/serial/by-id
pi@tardy cryptos:~ $ ls /dev/serial/by-id
usb-Klipper_stm32f446xx_2B002C001850344D30353320-if00
pi@tardy cryptos:~ $ exit
You messed up something inside your printer.cfg xD
You wrote /dev/serial/by-id/stm32f446xx_28002C001850344D30353320-if00 instead of /dev/serial/by-id/stm32f446xx_2B002C001850344D30353320-if00
So you wrote 8 inside your config but it should be B according to your output
old eyes! let me give it a try
it works now, thanks so much for finding my stupidity
Sure np ^^
