Hey on the worm attack on base, i noticed they must have changed the boundary line of how close the worm can get to you- i was cleaning up the lower foundation levels, and i was definitely in worm territory on the south side. And that doesnt count what was over hang, that was right out side the garage door
Noticed this with a few other bases in the WVG- when i was skirting around them in my buggy- long established bases that i was familiar with, were now in worm territory.

I think the Assault thopter is driving the larger bases, you cant store it once its out there. to park the big one, you need about a 3 x 5 space, and there is typically 4 of us out there with them

The cliff base was a headache, needed to expand outward beyond the cliff face. That required spawning the Fief way over the edge. First built a platform sticking of the edge, then destroyed fief, respawned it far out over the cliff, built another platform sticking out over the cliff, repeat.

my big criticism of the game is that i blocks out way to many locations for the mob camps- those could have been made dynamic or at least pushed out once claimed by players. finding a spot that has a good vantage point, and has road access, and is flat enough, and doesnt get eaten by the worm, is very difficult. If you look at the whole west side of HB, there's lots of great spots on those island south of mesa taril, but its all unbuildable due to camps. the shield wall is ok, but most of the good spots with road access are taken. Building on the shield wall itself is ok but, again no road acess for a lot of it.

i will do a loop hit all our bases when i get back tonight, tomorrow. the ring in F5 is kinda well guarded by giganerd and his possie, or was but the other J5 one by our Top Secret base is usually open when its poppin. plus a few mediums, and treasure around the Top Secret base, if it is still up, not taken out. gunnar and i hid in it during a storm, the power went offline during the storm, then came back, but the shields remained down for a few mins, like 5-10 mins. that is when they could use rockets, etc to take it out.

whats the advantage of being beyond the safe zone of E? We do not have the numbers to man the base and keep it safe 24/7, sounds risky at this stage. If the base gets raided we can not replace everything fast enough.

If you pop into TEST base and grab all the top end stuff, the game is essentially over besides pvp in the deep desert.

i also got like a lot of spice sand hidden in a base but forgot to add perms for anyone so ill have to grab it when i get back and toss it in one of the Big Berthas. Oh TEST Assault #2 still needs a wing if anyone has a spare o7 bros

main dd is out of water, brought back some raw Ti back to HB, did one run up the the mid base near the TS, and ran back with some random heavy stuff to main dd base

did two runs out of the dd- grabbed as much plas as i could, got all the spice, got all the schematics, got some spice residue and go all ores cooking
i also brought back most but not all of the spice infused item, i figured id leave some behind if you need for repairing items tommorow.
i figure there is 3-5- assault loads left.

if you mine anything, we are short on strav
should be ok for water, if you dont intend to refine much more. but if you do another mining expedition, grab a few more bodies

scratch what i said about getting all the schematics back, i found that small chest hidden in the back- so there is still some there. i dissassembled the big water traps and hauled that back.
but yeah, its gonna be a few runs back and forth. currently the Hangar inventory is also filling up- the schematics bin is now over flowing into two, and the plastanium bin is almost full and pushed out the duraluminum into their own bins. thankfully we were ready for this scenario

nice! and a row base almost done, just need to break down the big refineries, and such and demo the structure. will try to do that tomorrow morning. gunnar finally got some t6 armor bits, as did i. nothing too fancy but a lil better than the 5.5 junk we had. trying to get the carrier before the cargo update though but if anyone needs any t6 armor pieces we should have enough comin in. we have invested heavily that now even just gunnar and i farming meds and lrg spice fields, that should provide us with enough to all the SM we need. SIPD is going to be the main thing tho, so we just need to meetup when possible to farm that or hit TS when possible to get thje SIPD.

the September patch looks really promising. F1-F8 to switch between seats in vehicles, double assault thopter storage, new story, new contracts, character customization etc etc, it all looks good tbh. Even if none of my friends log in, i'll still check it out.

Pulled a load of processed mats from DD base, the windtraps have filters for another 13h to get a last batch of water. Running a few hundred plast in the refinery now, we should be on track for an easy evac tomorrow.

I got 5 Big Containers at Radzone Base labled DD Base Box 1-5. The Carryall can be flown to A row quickly, and we have a seperate box for Buggys, Crawlers. Organization makes me happy inside!

im not sure they dont spawn often enough to remember, and the sand all looks the same hard to tell one sand dune from the next lol. and there were not bases at first i was on within a min of server restart, but now there are some though most are in middle and left from what i can tell.

affirm Sil Blocks. maybe some Plas, IP, AI, CP, and only the B8 base, it will not allow either of us to put a fief down in C, D, E, or F row. we can get from B8 Base to Rad zone base in under 1 min. it is pretty sweet.
so when we do have cargo container we might actually be able to do all the refining in Hagga.

I was cruising along PVE row E and a medium blow happened right next to just in the PVP zone. I went for it, got about 2000 done when suddenly out of nowhere I got hit with rockets! The render distance is terrible, you cant see them until its too late!
I managed to escape but my tail section was 1 hit away from being destroyed. It was close!
