I just installed BeamNG again -- I haven't touched it for many years. Wow... it's no longer a physics engine demo only -- it's actually a pretty decent driving game with some very cool maps, incl. beautiful Johnson Valley desert.
You can even customize official and mod vehicles and save them as your own cars! I quickly managed to build Sherriff's Office 4x4 Baja-style beast with V8 petrol engine, customized suspension and everything. Even tire pressure can be set manually... I love it.
Graphics are also very good now. This has been captured at ultra settings with no reshade; no post-processing either:

While the driving physics still can't compare to proper driving sims, the soft body physics more than make up for that 
Also in case you didn't know, with Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game you can make your own cars and export them to BeamNG

The app looks good, however... if you need to select body from one of the available ones, I think I could achieve almost the same by modifying the car in game... -- I need to test this; I'll try to recreate your beetle
