#Devoted AO: My loophole to your deck

The main thing I have some concerns about is I think it could be a bit easy for the opponent to kill off the contractors, I'd consider dropping the wounded guardians for 2 bloodmoon blades, and another archival however I do definitely like it
I'd also consider trying to work decoy disarray into the deck for more taunt and fragments
As that feels like it'll be the biggest problem, not enough taunt and you lose some of your power pieces
I get your points taunt is needed, but the wounded guardians not only further buff the saboteur and contractors they are amazing with defensive acumen attacks
Well on the subject of acumen, bloodmoons blade having restless is a massive secondary attacker should contractor fall apart
I agree on decoy disarray maybe being worth running if you could make space
Definitely less a fan of bloodmoon. Its a bit too expensive and slow. Restless doesn't matter as much because the whole point of acumen is to opt out of fairly interacting with combat. If you are planning on grinding down the opponent's board you arnt really utilizing loophole
Either way wounded is probably not the cut. The discard ability is really good in early turns and 1 attack loophole is often close to unblockable
Having restless is a great point especially if it gets loophole I'll consider this, but I agree with @upper mulch on it being slow decoy disarray is a better choice for taunt and maybe mana fragment as well as if against any rituals just discard, however it'll be hard to work in without disrupting the little control the deck has maybe reiteration or 1 archival
The biggest nun spell problem the deck has is low attack creatures being able to block your loophole
The scariest thing that you could see when facing the deck is your opponent getting lucky and having a 1/10 loophole contractor then hitting it with two copyright infringements
This looks well built. Its very low to the ground and tries to kill the opponent before board wipes happen which a lot of people don't realize is how you should probably be building acumen competitively
There's a few cute cards included. Im not sure how often escape clause lines up with hitting covert
Garsang and copyright might be a bit clunky sometimes.
But I consider most of those things to be "what this deck is trying to do differently than a normal acumen deck" kinda of quirky
In my list https://discord.com/channels/754443918371717202/1399197271278489661 I much preferred neutrals over worshipper because I found worshiper to be a little awkward in practice (and Fangalor, Stalwart, and penitent are really good).
I think you would have to make a lot of space to justify swapping over though which might not be possible while keeping your special sauce
That's exactly what I was thinking as well It's just a few situations where it's actually necessary You might wish you had a DD
I kinda hope to maybe see this deck or a version being used by Mulligan after patch
I've had multiple people say they wouldn't use Power of Garsang but I find it useful because you are outnumbered most games and it makes those PG and WH matches more fun with your Saboteur
I originally didn't like the idea of acumen deck but I got to thinking about why a lot of people don't use contractors it's effectiveness can be overwhelming to your opponents if they can't remove it quickly
Its a very good card. People make the mistake of getting too cute slowing down trying to keep it active. But even just giving your board +0/+1 once is arguably worth 2 mana and thats often good enough.
I just have more complicated difficulties with cheap spells in acumen in general. I struggle with Unfulfilled too. Its really good but i fight viciously to curve into a safe acumen board early and it can feel hard to find the room to weave in these slower 2 mana spells when I would much rather be aggressively curving out bodies on board instead
I totally feel that way as well. But if I am going second and I have contractor-Kira and opponent didn't play turn 1 I'll mana fragment contractor discard kira push next turn set up a unfulfilled for my turn 5 play of worshiper if I haven't played Saboteur for PG or WH it'll work for either because until it's got banish stat I won't push worshiper
Ok since patch removed all worshipers and useless saboteur add 1 mana neutrals and shield enhancements and now 3 breech of terms can still be fun
What do you mean removed all worshippers?
Are they bugged?
No he just took them out
