Do you mean that your booster pack had no gold or diamond frame cards at all? Or just that your "animated" booster pack was all diamond ?

yea there were no frames

When you were opening the pack in VR, did it immediately open?

Ah, that means you didn't manage to change it into a animated pack. The animated packs take about a full second of trying to pull it open before it'll open it; So that you can see and be sure that you are opening an animated pack before just instantly spending the gems.

There would also be a little jingle sfx happening to give audio feedback you spent gems on the pack

Oh I thought u meant after I pulled it open

I am 100% certain it costed gems because I opened it after getting gems from the season pass and saw my gem count go down

I know about the longer pull to open a animated pack

Just because your gem count went down doesn't guarentee it was an animated pack. You may have accidentally bought a faction pack.
