I was playing ranked and it says they pushed their guy and i took the damage. Now at the time I thought it had restless but when i looked at the creature and the graveyard there was no restless what so ever and he still got to block with it. Is it just something on my end or is it the game?

Problably the game. Possibly a return of flying creatures. Problably not though given the description.
What was the creature? What did you attack with?

i attacked with daring swindler and he blocked with trap engineer.

Trap Engineer has multiblocker, letting it block twice.

And if you mean "you" took damage, you probably pushed your Master forwards, and they blocked it, so it dealt this ability damage then combat damage.
