Even if your opponent forfeits you will get rating, the match ends as normal. Same for if they disconnect and this was extensively tested when the system was being designed.

If you find this isn't the case would you be willing to record evidence to help illuminate the fact? As with all due respect I believe this is just an instance of you not noticing your rating updating.
