#Track seek not working with Navidrome 0.60.2

I'm pretty sure it works with old versions of Navidrome enabling the "Force provider seek" option.
Tried to go back to 0.59.0 and it has the same issue so it seems it's more a music assistant issue than a navidrome one. Android apps like symphonium works well.
Better to open an issue on github?

The "Force provider seek" takes this out of the Subsonsic provider's control. What are the player providers in use and does this happen for all your players?

Beta or stable?

Can you try the latest beta? I am running the Beta at home (with gonic as the Subsonic server) and I cannot reproduce this behavior.

I don't have any opus files, I will transcode some and try

I used opusenc to convert a flac album I have to opus and I can still seek during play back.

#

I am not super familiar with opus, but I know that we had trouble with certain mp4 files (especially ones created by iTunes) because they would leave all the file metadata at the end of the file instead of at the front. This makes it hard for ffmpeg to interpret the file. Is this possible with opus?

Could be possible,i don't know actually how they are made.
Do you think I can see something from the logs?
I tried but I didn't get anything useful...

#

Anyway I encoded the files with foobar2000 which I think it should be a pretty standard tool so I don't expect strange behaviour about encoding.

can you DM me with a track that causes you trouble and I will try it myself?
