BBC Sounds Live radio streams ok to Web but not Sonos | Music Assistant | Page 1

Hi all, new to the Discord group, but not to Home Assistant and Music Assistant. Just upgraded to most recent version of MA 2.7.2 and delighted to find BBC Sounds there - trying to play Live Radio 4 to Sonos fails with errors in the log. I can however play it to the web player on my Chromebook. Log attached - I have no idea as to what is wrong, but perhaps something to do with the Sonos players? I can stream music from playlists to the Sonos players with no troouble at all.

I would have put this under music-providers but there was no bbc tag

I'm the author of the provider, but as it looks like the errors originate from MA's streaming code I won't be much help as I don't have any Sonos products to test. There is an option to swap the stream type in the BBC Sounds settings but I'd be surprised if it had any effect here.

What http profile do you have in the player settings? You could try changing that?
