Hi, thanks for your reply
Yeah
SonosOS S2
Build 80.28.36-release+20250829.cd768a8
Model 47
Yes, the network is a WLAN with no port blocking or issues. I can reach various services (Immich, Samba, Calibre-web, etc. on the LAN from the same machine I'm configuring things on for MA)
I do not have HA integration set up.
I switched to SONOS player provider
I still don't see any speakers tho
Are you running MA as docker container? If so, are you running it in host mode?
I have to clarify something with you, perhaps I totally missed something very obvious - IT IS NOW WORKING FINE
I can stream music to the speakers and manage things via Home Assistant
However, did I totally miss something? I thought MA was standalone.
As a standalone app, I can't 'do anything' with it. I can't see the speakers listed, I can't group them, start/stop them, etc. -- nothing really.
But when I open HA, then I can see and manage the speakers there.
Maybe that's the whole idea, it was just not at all clear when I ran just MA.
No it is standalone. However, did you add the Sonos provider to MA? Did you review the docs? https://www.music-assistant.io/player-support/sonos/
