I have included Spotify with my own client ID. This works flawless for albums, titles, artists and so forth. But I am not able to play any kind of public playlists or podcasts. The error message is either "Unable to retrieve streamdetails" or "Stream error on spotify". Any hints?

We do not yet support podcasts for spotify in general
For playlists... unfortunately spotify is making some weird changes lately. The global playlists (moderated by spotify) can only be retrieved WITHOUT a personal client id
If you want to use any of the global/spotify playlists or want to use radio mode, it is preferred to NOT use a personal client ID.

I need to properly look into it - it may be cached a bit or we need to do some filtering. This all changed very recently in their policies
