Sonos play/pause

I noticed that I cannot pause and resume any plex song in my Sonos. When I press pause the song pause but when I press again it starts a new song, not resuming. It is a bug of an issue of my configuration? Thank you

The Plex provider doesnt get a lot of attention, it has no dedicated dev and nobody of the core team is using Plex for music. So good chance this is a bug that needs to be looked at. It helps if you can check it with another provider, maybe try some files into the local files provider. To rule out its an issue with plex or maybe something else

nop, I was wrong. I tried many times and the same issue happen with local music. It happens when you trigger the media_player pause/play action in homeassistant. After that every time you resume after a pause it is like a next song action. If you reset the music assistant and you do not use homeassistant it works well but after you use it for the first time it gets crazy music assistant and does not work the resume option.

Is this on Sonos only ? If so what sonos provider ?

chromecast works well

it is funny because when the issue appears even if you play/pause in the sonos app the resume is not working

I use that entity, not the sonos integration

Yes, you have the sonos speakers added in MA and then publish to HA. All good!

So the issue with the pausing, does that also happen if you use the MA interface ?

no, until I use the action in HA. Then when I change to another song it happens all the time in all: MA interface, HA interface and sonos app

Are you on beta or stable ? Because the bug is almost certain already fixed in 2.4 beta

I tried the beta 4-5 days ago and still not working. I will wait for the stable then. It is just annoying but MA is working perfectly for the rest. Thank you!
