Does Vercel AI SDK work with just regular React and not using NextJS?

I would like to use Vercel AI SDK but I am wondering if it is for NextJS only or if you can use it in regular react.

Oh I'm using Django for the backend and React for the frontend

unless you're talking about SSR (which tbh i have no clue about)
