hmmm, all I can say is check what are the breaking changes on nextjs 13+ and react 18 since those are the main things that could break your build. As stated in the github issue, it might only be on dev and not production. overall it might be a breaking change due to this strict mode that was mentioned.

I think i found the error

maybe the post was right

I realized my project also uses modal

but then nothing seemed out of the blue

It should have been closeModal not setCloseModal on the router.events functions
