I built this as a more efficient alternative to Crafatar, and also as a challenge to myself for working with 3D image rendering in Go. I would like to hear any feedback that you may have for me. The GitHub is linked in the navbar.
#mineatar.io - A Minecraft skin API

can i suggest maybe looking into ThreeJS to create animated 3D renders of the skins? it’d be cool to be able to look at the entire skin of a player :) refer to NameMC for inspiration
UI feedback:
- I suggest fixing the size of the steve head as it causes content layout shfit, pretty nice after all
- changing body font to slightly white/white with 80% opacity to not bleed user's eye
(headings are okay)
This is definitely something that I could implement on the website, but the API will remain unchanged and only offer the two isometric renders.
