We can whitelist channels to give points but it would still have the same cooldown as the other channels

I can see the appeal of the shrine channel if all people want to do is just spam emotes and just say "I exist and still think about you Kii"

Instead of having to write an entire essay everyday

Just to use the channel properly

We can allow emote spam in #💖┃kiichan-appreciation but I'm pretty sure we removed that because it took away from other appreciation posts that people took the time to write

i am BACK from my trip! but henry already summed up the situation well
We already have #💖┃kiichan-appreciation and i dont think we need another channel to fill a similar purpose, but in an inferior way.

Bit of lore:
The issue with what used to happen in the Kiichan's appreciation channel before was that a lot of the more heartfelt messages, which people would put in there, would be drowned out by the flood of random emotes or messages like "day x of appreciating kiichan" to the point where it was just a flood of only those kinds of messages for months. The flood also deincentivizes people from actually posting in the channel, because they see it as mostly just a meme/copypasta central, and don't feel like posting anything just for it to get drowned out or breaking a chain of emojis/copypastas. And, because Kii actually likes reading through the messages, and from what I know, i THINK (don't know for sure) she does not like the mindless spam, and it just takes away from what others want to say to her!

As for creating a channel dedicated to spamming emojis and messages in, i don't think it's healthy! we already have #💖┃kiichan-appreciation which fills the role of "appreciating kiichan" in a better way, so i don't see the need of a worse version of the channel as well, especially when we're trying to declutter the server. You can leave emojis in the channel already, but just don't spam or keep flooding it! (also if you want tatsu points just yap in gen chat )
