help with Percuval rackham trial final boss

I’m struggling a lot with this final boss. It says to hit the pensive with ancient magic and get rid of the orb while it’s charging up but I’m not sure how to do that

You can throw one of those egg statue things at the orb, or hit it with a spell of the same colour

look at the colors of the orbs. match that with the color of your spells.

If the orb is purple use purple spell you have to check orb colour

If it is red use red spell

Also a good damage combo is the ice spell ( I forgot name) and incendio
