so im in the quest where deek is showing me how to breed beasts, and i need to breed thestrals. theres a 30 minute timer until they breed. if i leave the room of requirement and do other quests, will the timer be paused or will it continue going down?

also, do you know how sebastian’s owls for his “in the shadow” relationship quests are activated? like how do make him send us an owl to start his next “in the shadow” quest? is it like after a certain time or level? i’m currently level 27 and just finished “in the shadow of discovery”. sorry, wasnt sure if i should make another forum to ask this since i just made one.
