what main quest, you have to be specific, because different times in the games fo bugs, require different steps to help

ok, have you tried waiting a full day in game? quick way to do that, go to the map and if you using controller it's r3 to wait, but i am unsure what it is on keyboard

  1. If u got quest with spell to learn "transformation" go on that class, it will unbug the game after that and you can continue.
  2. Try owl post, get the quest, get front of the doors, skip to morning, and cut sceen should start
  3. Try to respawn, then try the quest again.
    try those, if those don't work, idk what to tell you
