It's always so hard talking to Souls fans.
Very hard to argue when they don't accept other peoples opinions of a series of games.
besides, DS1 and 3 had input issues on both X360 and PC, but once you learned to work with it, it was fine
DS2 had the best overall gameplay for me, with the lack of Lag being a massive contributing factor.
Bloodborne was fun, but ultimately the lore got so convoluted that I had to resort to wiki entries to understand it all, which is never acceptable for any game to require.
If I need to seek external sources of information to understand why certain things are important, then I might as well not play.
Please note, I never said the games are actually bad, but they're not nearly as good as the most vocal of its fans would have people believe.
Also, the popular counter argument of "get good", yeah, what if I have 2 hours a week to play games because I have work and family to deal with. Dying at the same thing, with no way of getting stronger doing side quests or getting actual better gear, is worse than literal torture.
