If you set the core or the memory too high the GPU will crash causing the system to crash and then you just reboot. Don’t worry there’s internal protection on the GPU if you try and push it too high it’ll crash your system and then you reboot and then you can replay with the settings again

That’s a great card to experiment with you can really push the memory with it. It’s important to download gpu-z which will tell you the memory type (Samsung, micron or hynix) because each one has different levels of overclocking that can be done on it

Yes if you’re using msi afterburner you expect it to crash you start by increasing your overclock very slowly until you find the settings that work so your PC doesn’t crash. As long as your temps on the card stays low you’re okay
