That's what makes it so good though. He's a very polarizing character. On one hand he had protected harry, cared for him and made him feel safe. On the other he only did it to make sure the end-game of Harry dying at the perfect time comes to fruition

I know what was said… I’m saying that saying “you’re kinda right” is completely wrong. Just because Snape said “you’ve been raising him like a pig for slaughter.” doesn’t mean anything. It was in that moment that he learned the “objectively” big picture. Dumbledore has never been and will never be a bad guy. And if your thoughts on him using Harry pushes your opinion towards that, then you truly do not understand the big picture.
