discord doesnt ban people who modify their client, only people who attempt to modify the server ie i can modify discord to show me hidden channels and they wouldnt do anything about it... now if i modified it to show me whats in those channels thats when discord bans people for better discord

Eh, not true. They explicitly state that modified clients are not allowed in their ToS, but it's not enforced well. So use it at your own risk
