Yeah, in the public opinion, people outside of WB, we want to see some stuff. But to WB they don't understand how desperate we are as they already know everything about the game so they find it easier to keep it a secret than make promotional footage or leaks - that's my guess.

Yeah but here's the catch, if you allow people to build a game in their head too much, the expectations will be unmatchable. Showing content also act as some expectations moderator, allowing people to kinda know what to expect by some margin.

I keep seeing people exoecting this game to be everything and its contrary, this isn't fine if you think about it. It's simply augment the probable number of people that will be butthurt in the end

On the other end of the spectrum you have blatant lies like the one CDPR told around, but that's another issue

I completely agree with this, I've read through many people's ideas and people seem to think that WB can perform magic themselves; "we want loyalty systems, romance systems, we want to read books in the library, we want this, we want that". People are completely over the place with their ideas and believe that this game will be so immersive they can live in it. They are creating unrealistic idealisations and I think it's somewhat unfair towards the WB as, if I put myself in their shoes seeing all of these comments, I'd be panicking that I could never meet their expections.

On the other hand I agree with what you said how they've put it on themselves by allowing people to imagine these unrealistic ideals by not providing any footage or content, it's all a bit of a mess really.

WB could make it sooo easy for themselves by just giving us a glimmer of content to satisfy some of our expectations and increase the hype while also saving themselves in the end.

It really depends on the game

Cinematic game where there's not a lot of input needed for normal gameplay, I'm fine with it dipping down to 24fps. If it's like a fast paced fps game, then high fps takes priority over everything else

When I played Borderlands 3 on pc I played for like 10 minutes on 25 fps and high quality and it was terrible. I put that game as low as possible for max fps

Mostly just first person shooter I think that have it

But I don’t think miles morales is 60fps on pro

God of war has a performance mode and a resolution mode it lets me switch between the two on pro

But ye like darkstar said, I tend to put resolution mode on in cinematic style games and then if I’m playing a shooter that has the option then I’ll switch to performance
