I'd love to see them do a botw like spin on the franchise. Just complete overhaul on the ideas and structure. I don't even care if they only limited it to one generation of Pokemon. And with the money they make they could probably do it, but if people will buy yearly games, that's probably more profitable for them.

I've seen it, what they are showing is promising. But it just looks like any other pokemon game, but with a free to rotate camera. It has none of the nintendo polish basically, but maybe if they keep building on it iteratively over the years, it'll become something great.
