@balmy wren Idk man. For me I guess I just had higher expectations. After growing up the geek who reads big books as a little kid I went on to major in English literature and I’m obsessed with over analyzing little changes in movies from their novels. I think HP was a great movie series but THAT scene disappointed me and my whole family. The character is written as a shouter which is why her line was written in such a way, but ofc the director felt the need to change it for whatever reason.

imo harry potter series doesnt utilize spells power completely. legendary spells like fire spiral by dumbledore would have made series more action packed if more characters used it. there is no basic fire spell or frost spell.
