I don't talk about the Qudditch carbage. I was thinking about the character in and by itself. In all the concept art and trailers, the MC is a female, often with dark hair. Who else do we know who have dark hair, is Tonks' age, comes form a wizarding household and hence know little about Muggles, is magically very competent and have done something remarkable to earn Dumbledore's confidence to be allowed to join the Order of the Phoenix, even though she was too young to have joined the first time? Hestia Jones.

I have a vested interest in the integrity of the HP univese, and while I dismiss the Cursed Child because it reads as literal fan fiction, there are moments where you get the sense that the writers of Hogwarts Mystery are really trying. There are moments where the wording of dialouge is so faithful to the character in question that it might have been taken straight out of the books, and other times, it makes me cringe. Ultimately - they're trying - and I respect that.
