asking because im the depluso quest and in order to unlock that spell i need three potions which costs over 1,000 coin and i havent been able to find more than between 20-50 coins in the chests ive opened

You will still get them but they wont show it to you while playing. there's option u can view directly in the epic launcher, profile-my achievements-hogwarts legacy
